Centre VR / Lockey - Waiver

PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to take part in The Lockey Escape Rooms Ltd without signing this waiver.
Risks associated with escape rooms include, but are not limited to:
- Claustrophobia.
- Eye Strain.
- Dizziness.
- Increased Heart Rate.
- Increased Body Temperatures.
- Seizures.
- Injury from other players.
- Self-Injury due to user confusion for example walking into walls and doors, tripping, crawling, over extending reach, inappropriate use of props, ect.

While in an escape room:
- Locked doors could cause panic attacks due to claustrophobia.
- Flashing lights or flickering screens could trigger underlying health conditions.
- Telephone use is only permitted in health emergencies. (Lockers are provided to store all such devices.)
- Objects of any sort are not to be used for handiwork. E.g., Sawing, Hammering, Screwing or unscrewing.
- All props and other objects are to remain within the escape room. If any are taken home, they will need to be brought back or the card on file will be charged the necessary amount.
- If anything is purposefully broken, the game will be shut down with no refund and the card on file will be charged the necessary amount.
- You may encounter moving objects within the room. If you force these to move faster and break them, your game will end immediately.
- You must self-monitor your health, if you become unwell, you must contact your games master immediately.
- Negative health effects may not present immediately.

We recommend that you do not enter the escape room if you are:
- Feeling physically ill.
- Under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or hungover.
- Susceptible to light-sensitive health conditions and have not checked the suitability of the rooms you can access.

Any and all negative behaviour aimed toward any staff member is unaccepted and can cause us to stop your game.

BY USING THE LOCKEY FACILITIES YOU ARE INDICATING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

1. I (or my child/dependent/minor) wish to play one of The Lockey Escape Rooms Ltd. I recognize and understand the risks involved with the escape rooms.
2. I (or my child/dependent/minor) am voluntarily going into the escape room;
3. I assume all of the physical, psychological, and financial risks associated with use of the escape rooms;
4. I understand that media including, but not limited to, photos and video may be captured by The Lockey Escape Rooms Ltd or associated organisations during my visit. I confirm that I waive all rights to and control over such media and understand that it may be used by The Lockey and associated organisations in, but not limited to, paid and social media, print media, press releases, etc.
5. I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver in full and that I am voluntarily giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue The Lockey Escape Rooms Ltd or its employees;
6. I acknowledge that signing this waiver means releasing The Lockey Escape Rooms Ltd from any liability regarding my (or my child/dependent/minor’s) use of the escape rooms and any equipment involved.
7. If the escape room is being used by my child/dependent/minor, that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor named below. I have the legal right to consent to and, by signing below, I hereby do consent to the terms and conditions of this Release of Liability.
8. I understand that I must sign this Release of Liability in person before using the equipment at any ‘The Lockey’ location.
9. I am confirming that I am over 18 years of age and have read the above information and agree to The Lockey Escape Rooms Ltd Terms and conditions.
